Certificate Requirements

The SessionAudit server communicates with clients over an HTTPS secure channel. It is recommended that all communication between the interface and the agent be done over HTTPS. HTTP option can be used for the interface.

For HTTPS, a certificate from the Internal CA server or an external trusted certificate provider can be used. A self-signed certificate can also be used to be managed manually. The "CommonName" field of the certificate must contain the binding information provided on IIS. Star, multiple SAN and single SAN information are supported.
