Agent Requirements

Scope: SessionAudit 1.0

SessionAudit supports installing client (Agent) software on Windows client and server computers.

General Requirements

Changing the startup type or Log on as settings for any SessionAudit agent software is not supported. Also, no user, including users with administrative rights, can stop or terminate the SessionAudit client service.

Limitations

  • If the start type of the service is changed, the security of the system, logging of the states and any activities will not work.

  • The agent supports 32-bit and 64-bit systems.

Windows Computers

To audit sessions SessionAudit needs a client agent software on Windows Computers.

Supported Windows Client Operating System Versions

  • Windows 8.1: Professional, Enterprise.

  • Windows 10: Version 1607+ of Professional, Enterprise editions, (LTSB, LTSC or any client versions included in the lifecycle support period)

  • Windows 11: Professional, Enterprise editions.

Supported Windows Server Operating System Versions

  • Windows Server 2012: Standard, Datacenter

  • Windows Storage Server 2012: Standard

  • Windows Server 2012 R2: Standard, Datacenter

  • Windows Storage Server 2012 R2: Standard

  • Windows Server 2016: Standard, Datacenter

  • Windows Storage Server 2016: Standard

  • Windows Server 2019: Standard, Datacenter

  • Windows Server 2022: Standard, Datacenter
