Grooming

SessionAudit continuously records all user and agent activities. These records are accumulated in the SQL Server database. Grooming settings ensure that this collected data is deleted periodically starting from the end.

Grooming Type

  • Event Grooming: It is used for periodic cleaning of the collected event information.

  • Session Grooming: It is used for periodic cleaning of collected session information.

Other Grooming Settings

  • Data Age: It determines how many days of data in days will stay in the database. The default period for each grooming type is 365 days. It can be configured to have a minimum of 10 days and a maximum of 4000 days.

  • Period: It is the working period of the grooming process. Data is entered in minutes. The default period value is 360 minutes. A minimum of 60 minutes and a maximum of 1440 minutes can be entered.

  • Number of Records to be Deleted: How many records will be deleted in each grooming operation is determined in terms of number. The purpose of this setting is to ensure that the data to be deleted is deleted piece by piece without occupying the database unnecessarily, if the data to be deleted is millions.

You can Enable or Disable each grooming type whenever you want. After set all grooming settings click Update button to save grooming configuration.

General Server Settings

In this section, in a special agent setting assigned to groups and/or OUs, it is determined which machines are found in that group or OU, and the time interval to match the relevant computers with the special agent setting as a result of this analysis is determined. Default interval is 15 minutes. A minimum of 15 minutes and a maximum of 360 minutes can be entered.

After set AD Sync Interval click Update button to save Synchronization setting.
